Our Story
WEBCEO was founded in 2022 with a simple but powerful idea: that web development and cybersecurity should never be treated as separate disciplines. Too many agencies build beautiful websites that are insecure, while security consultants find vulnerabilities in products they didn't build. We set out to bridge that gap.
Based in Chatham, Kent, we started as a two-person operation serving local businesses. Our founder, with a background in both software engineering and information security, saw firsthand how often security was bolted on as an afterthought — expensive, inefficient, and ultimately less effective than building it in from day one.
Over the following years, we grew organically through referrals and a reputation for delivering high-quality, secure products on time and on budget. Today we serve clients across the UK, from London-based fintech companies to Kent-based SMEs, offering everything from website development to enterprise-grade cybersecurity consulting.
We remain independent, proudly Kent-based, and committed to the principles that got us here: technical excellence, genuine transparency, and a security-first mindset in everything we do.
